Third and Fourth days ;)

Hi there)))
Last two days I was reading about emotions a lot.
There are many theories to describe what it is a human emotion - from stoics of ancient Greece to Neurobiological theories.
Personally I like Cognitive theories. Some of them say that cognitive activity—in the form of judgments, evaluations, or thoughts—is necessary for an emotion to occur and cognitive activity may be conscious or unconscious and may or may not take the form of conceptual processing.
So emotion is a disturbance that occurs in the following order: 1.) Cognitive appraisal—The individual assesses the event cognitively, which cues the emotion. 2.) Physiological changes—The cognitive reaction starts biological changes such as increased heart rate or pituitary adrenal response. 3.) Action—The individual feels the emotion and chooses how to react.

I think now I have theoretical  base for my first two lessons I had.... because the main idea was that our emotions caused by comparison of our personal anticipations and a situation as we see it!

Therefor, if we expected less and got more - we are happy.
If our anticipations bigger then we can get there are two scenarios:
  • if we think we can change anything - our reaction will be anger (high energy stage - a warrior type of behavior)
  • if not - we become sad (low energy - depression).
So ... all our emotions come from our anticipations - is it that simple?
If you can’t change the situation, change how you feel about it.
It is easy talk about it ... but as I already wrote another day, once I started to monitor my emotions, my thoughts I act more conscience and I like it!

Bottom line is all our emotions cause energy blocks in our physical body. Than more blocks we have than more health issues and lack of inner positive energy...

Tomorrow next part - how to work with old blocks (emotions).
